Mountains are everywhere

Over 90% of the country's territory is covered by mountains, making it a true paradise for nature lovers. Majestic peaks are visible from anywhere in the capital, and beyond the cities, bizarre labyrinths of canyons, turbulent rivers, high-mountain lakes, and secluded valleys framed by cliffs await.

The legacy of nomads

During the trip, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a thousand-year-old culture and history. Not only will you stay in authentic yurts, but you'll also encounter the petroglyphs of Cholpon-Ata, see ancient sculptures at the 11th-century minaret, and even set out on horseback like the nomads of centuries past.

Kyrgyzstan: Peaks and Nomadic Traditions

Kyrgyzstan offers several travel options to suit every taste. First, of course, are the breathtaking mountain routes, as 93% of the country is mountainous. But a visit to Kyrgyzstan is also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the cultural heritage of nomads and relax by one of the world's largest high-altitude lakes. In a short trip, you can see many sides of the country: from Bishkek, with its Soviet architecture and verdant parks, to remote valleys and majestic peaks where traditional ways of life are preserved. A special place on the itinerary, of course, is Issyk-Kul, a focal point for most travelers to Kyrgyzstan.

A national park with its rich flora, horseback riding through the enchanting Chon-Kemin Valley, the bizarre reliefs of the Skazka Canyon, and the winding trails of Kok-Moinok await you. You'll see millennia-old petroglyphs and unusual balbal sculptures, immerse yourself in the region's history, stay in authentic ethno-retreats and luxurious coastal resorts, and relax in healing hot springs. The contrast of experiences makes the route vibrant and varied, and our personalized approach allows us to tailor it to your specific needs: with an emphasis on nature, culture, or a wellness retreat. We'll reveal the real Kyrgyzstan to you, and the diversity of experiences will coalesce into a well-thought-out and coherent story.

Tour program of your choice

Tour of the capital and natural park

Your introduction to Kyrgyzstan begins with a warm welcome: you'll be met at Bishkek airport by a personal coordinator, along with a woman dressed in traditional Kyrgyz costume and offering a traditional treat, fresh boorsok. We'll then arrange a private transfer to your hotel, where you can relax after your journey. If you'd like, we'll select and book a restaurant for dinner on your first evening, focusing on local cuisine or the city's contemporary culinary offerings.

The next day, we begin exploring the country. First, we'll take a sightseeing tour of Bishkek, visiting the city's main landmarks—from the monumental Ala-Too Square with its government buildings to the leafy avenues of Erkindik Boulevard. Then we'll head to Ala-Archa Nature Park, located just an hour's drive from the capital. Here, panoramic views of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too Mountains open up, and the landscapes range from foothill steppes to coniferous forests and alpine slopes. The park is home to over 600 plant species—about a third of the country's flora! After lunch, we'll visit Burana Tower. This 11th-century minaret, once standing approximately 45 meters tall, now stands amid the ruins of the city of Balasagun, an important center on the Great Silk Road. Stone balbals (tombstones of the Turks) are located near the tower. At the end of the day, we'll head to the Chon-Kemin Valley and settle into an authentic yurt glamping experience. We can also organize traditional horse games for you that day or the following day for a truly immersive experience!

Horseback riding and photo stop in the canyon

Today, we suggest changing your pace and heading out on horseback: after breakfast, enjoy a horseback ride through the Chon-Kemin Valley. This region is considered one of the most picturesque in the country; the valley stretches for over 100 kilometers between the Tien Shan mountain ranges, and its landscapes vary from wide green meadows to pine forests and glacier-covered mountain slopes. The ride offers breathtaking views of the Chon-Kemin River, offering the opportunity to take countless beautiful photos. This l
